Enlivened by the Holy Spirit to journey together as a parish community, we acknowledge as the early Church did that, "many signs and wonders were being done by the apostles. All who believed were together and had all things in common; they would sell their possessions and goods and distribute the proceeds to all, as any had need." - Acts 2:43-45
Our call to stewardship encourages the faithful and responsible use of goods and resources that are entrusted to us by you. We need generous souls to do a small part of this exciting new whole.
Empowered to serve the community in all our fiduciary responsibilities. This council meets every other month.
This entails bimonthly meetings to ensure that our expenses are in line with our income and our priorities are reflected in our stewardship.
When we share our treasure, committed people need to make sure that it is dealt with care and confidentiality. Teams of 4 count the weekend collection on Sunday mornings after the 10 am Mass on Union Street and Monday morning after the 9 am Mass on Rosa Road.
This group does the management of decision-making around investments in keeping with our values.
